What is MLS Laser Therapy?

Laser therapy is a therapy for treating pain, inflammation, edema and for healing of superficial lesions. We are excited to have the laser therapy here so we can offer your pet a quick recovery.  MLS (Multiwave Locked System) Laser Therapy has combined the benefits of using pulse and continuous laser therapy.  Pulse Laser emissions have an immediate effect on pain by inducing analgesia.  It does this by interfering with the brains transmission of pain impulse, but is less effective at treating inflammation and edema.  Continuous Laser emissions act fast on inflammation, and stimulating blood and lymphatic circulation.  This helps induce fast re-absorption of fluid build-ups. Continuous laser therapy however only helps with pain by reducing inflammation making you pet more comfortable.  MLS Laser Therapy has combined continuous and pulsed Laser emissions to allow analgesia, anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effects to occur all at the same time.  The combination of both emissions help reinforce each other giving your pet a quick recovery.
